About LAD

Colorado Latino/a Advocacy Day (LAD) was launched in 2007 in response to anti-immigrant policies and sentiment, and for 20 years it continues to be an impetus for advocacy, bringing Latinos/as together from every corner of Colorado to demand change and lobby on the issues that impact the community.

In 2021, we launched the Colorado Latino Agenda, a statewide public research initiative that produces timely, nonpartisan research that captures the priorities, experiences, and views of Latinas and Latinos across Colorado on political, economic, and social issues. Every LAD since then has been informed by the Colorado Latino Policy Agenda, our annual, nonpartisan report that provides insight into the demographic makeup and views of Latinos in Colorado on pressing policy, political, and other relevant issues. LAD has showcased the power of Colorado Latinos in driving progressive wins for nearly two decades, holding elected officials accountable and continuing to positively impact our state’s ecosystem.
